As you all know, the primary cause of death in the United States is heart attack. In order to prevent this life-threatening condition, we need to be able to recognize its symptoms.

Modern busy lifestyle and unhealthy diet are the two major reasons for the significantly raised number of heart attacks in the US. However, stress also plays a big role when it comes to heart attack.

Avoidng stress is the most important thing when it comes to leading a healthy lifestyle. You can save your own life if you know how to recognize the sympotoms one month before a heart attack occurs.

You will not be able to function properly since your body will feel clammy and unwell, which is an important symptom that can point to a possible heart attack in the near future.

Chest Pressure

Chest pressure and pain are other important signs of a heart attack. If you feel an increased pain and chest pressure, it means that the potential for a heart attack is approaching.  You can also feel pain to other parts of your body like in your arms, shoulders and back.

Flu or Cold

There are evidences that flu and cold-like symptoms occure just before the heart attack, so make sure to consult your doctor whenever you feel sick.

Shortness of Breath

Shortness of breath is yet another sign that you are dealing with narrowed arteries and reduced blood flow. As a result, your lungs don’t receive the necessary blood to function properly.

Since the heart and the lungs work together, if one of them is disabled to function properly, it will have impact on the other. This is the reason why shortness of breath is an important symptom which indicates that a heart attack nears.

Body Weakness

You will experience muscle and body weakness because narrow arteries result in less blod flow and worse circulation. If you experience these symptoms, you should consult your doctor since both of them are among the first signs of a heart attack.

Dizziness and Cold Sweats

Dizziness and cold sweats appear when you have poor blood circulation that leads to less blood supply to your brain. This is a sign that something is happening with your body.

Fatigue

When your arteries are narrowed, your heart recieves less blood and it works harder than normal, which causes fatigue. Consult your doctor if you are constantly feeling tired.

Make sure to keep an eye on all of the abovementioned sympotms and signs in order to prevent heart attck. Beside that, you should also try to lead a healthy, low-stressed lifestyle.
